Another defeat due to foolishness
So far, there has been at least 53 Marines killed in Basilan and Sulu. While I’m writing this, the battle rages in the hinderlands of BASILAN. There will be more soldiers and terrorists who’ll die there.
The AFP boasts that they allegedly killed 30 ASG’s. However, at LEAST 5 officers lost their lives in the process. Ibig bang sabihin ni Esperon that they succeeded in “annihilating” the ASGs when 7 officers died? The true record of casualties in that battle is MORE THAN 15 MARINES. One officer is equivalent to at least TEN rebels. If 5 officers officers died, its equivalent to 50 soldiers. So, at least 70 soldiers died in this latest battle, the most for the AFP. So, the ASG still won in that battle.
The Marines will continue to suffer defeat after defeat in Mindanao for one reason–they are being led by nincompoops, idiot generals. General Cedo is a bumbling idiot. So is that Marine Commandant or General (I forgot the name). THESE SONAFABITCHES ARE FEEDING OUR SOLDIERS TO THE ENEMY!!! THESE GENERALS DON’T CARE IF WE LOSE THOUSANDS OF SOLDIERS IN MINDANAO FOR AS LONG AS THEY EARN MILLIONS FROM IT.
A senator said that the government will spend or is now spending 1 billion pesos per day just to sustain this war in Mindanao. Imagine spending 1 billion pesos of our hard-earned money for a war that would put the ENTIRE SOUTHEAST ASIAN REGION IN TOTAL JEOPARDY! WHAT A FOOLHARDY DECISION BY AN IDIOT OF A GOVERNMENT!!!
These victories being made in Mindanao by the terrorists will embolden the Jemaah Islamiyah to conduct more wars not only in Mindanao but also in Thailand! It will likewise, engulf Indonesia, Malaysia and possibly Singapore! Terrorist money is now pouring in Mindanao due to this war, and this money is definitely more than the ones being spent by the government right now.
War begets more violence and this is NOT THE STRATEGY IN FIGHTING TERRORISM IN MINDANAO. THE WAR THERE IS A TRAP SET UP BY THE JEMAAH ISLAMIYA AND OUR FOOLISH GOVERNMENT FELL FOR IT!!
More Filipino Muslims will be emboldened to support ASG AND JI!!!! MORE AND MORE JIHADISTS WILL FIGHT THE FORCES OF THE AFP!!! WHAT’S MORE, THEY PUT THE ENTIRE NATION AS A TARGET!!! I WILL NOT BE SURPRISED IF ONE OF THESE DAYS, A BOMB WILL GO OFF IN METRO MANILA, INITIATED BY THE PSYCHOTIC MEMBERS OF ASG AND JI!
WHAT FOOLISHNESS!

MANILA, Philippines — Fifteen Marines and an estimated 30 Abu Sayyaf bandits were killed, while nine other government troopers were wounded in a fierce encounter in the southern island province of Basilan on Saturday.
Among those killed were Abu Sayyaf member Umair Indama, one of four bandits implicated by a joint fact-finding team of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front and the government in the beheading of Marine troops in Al-Barkah town last July 10, Lieutenant Colonel Bartolome Bacarro said.
Thirteen Marines died on the spot while two other expired at the hospital
On the other hand, an Inquirer source said among those killed were five junior officers. He identified them as Lieutenants Salvador, Loperaz, Peñera, Solorin, and Sumera.
The other slain soldiers were identified as Privates First Class Baroy, Pedroso, Semeros, Jovie, Tayaban, Migras, Lagbigan, and Torres.
The wounded soldiers were identified as Corporals Mandili, Bocol, and Dela Rama; Privates Canoigan and Domingo, Privates First Class Labañez, Dagatan, Claro, and Orell.
Bacarro could not immediately confirm these casualties.
A source said earlier that Abu Sayyaf casualties were estimated at more than two dozens although only two bodies had been recovered so far.
The encounter started at around 6:25 a.m. when soldiers from the 64th Marine Force Reconnaissance Company raided an Abu Sayyaf camp occupied by some 70 combatants in Ungkaya Pukan town, Bacarro said.
Unkaya Pukan Mayor Joel Maturan confirmed that Indama was a leader of an Abu Sayyaf group in Silangkum in Tipo-tipo Central and had more than 50 armed followers.
A military official, who asked that he not be identified, named the other Abu Sayyaf fatality as Alimari Amirul.
“The firefight is ongoing as of this report. Troops are now concentrating in the area. We will press on with the fight,” Bacarro told Camp Aguinaldo reporters.
“The Marines’ display of unwavering gallantry in this government-initiated engagement is commendable. In the face of danger, they did not waver. Their dedication to accomplish the mission prevailed,” he said.
Senior Superintendent Salik Macapantar, Basilan police chief, said the first encounter occurred in Sitio (sub-village) Kurellem in Barangay (village) Silangkum in Unkaya Pukan and the fighting was continuing as of 1 p.m. Saturday.
.
“It is still raging until now,” he confirmed.
The Saturday morning casualties bring to 27 the number of Marines killed in Basilan in over a month.
It also brought to 53 the number of government troopers killed in encounters in Basilan and the neighboring island province of Sulu.
On July 10, 14 Marines were killed, ten of whom were beheaded, after they were ambushed by MILF rebels in Ginanta village, Al-Barkah town. The MILF denied involvement in the beheadings, which a joint investigation by the government and the rebels blamed on the Abu Sayyaf.
Four engagements in Sulu province from August 7 to 9 left 26 soldiers and an estimated 41 Abu Sayyaf bandits and rogue Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) rebels killed.
Troops in Sulu were running after Abu Sayyaf leaders Radullan Sahiron, Albader Parad, and Gumbahali Jumdail alias Doc Abu and two Jemaah Islamiyah (JI) militants wanted over the 2002 Bali bombings — Umar Patek and Dulmatin.
Doc Abu and Dulmatin were reportedly wounded in the August 9 encounter in Maimbung town that left 15 soldiers killed.
Bacarro said the Saturday morning assault on the Abu Sayyaf camp was coordinated with the MILF, which is engaged in peace talks with the government.
He said an Abu Sayyaf leader, Furuji Indama, a brother of one of the bandit fatalities, Umair Indama, was in charge of the camp.
Security forces are running after 130 suspects involved in the July 10 attack on a Marine convoy in Ginanta village, Al Barkah town that left 14 Marines killed, 10 of whom were beheaded and decapitated.
The MILF owned up to ambushing the Marines, saying they encroached on their territory, but the rebels denied involvement in the beheadings.
Sattar Alih, an MILF representative on the Basilan Local Ceasefire Monitoring Committee, urged the military to avoid Baguindan in Albarka.
“We have forces in that place,” he said.
He also asked the military to avoid targeting MILF areas there.
“I was informed that mortar and howitzer (shells) are falling down about 100 meters away from our territory,” he said.
