Bedol should be meted a more serious punishment

Published by RedBlueThoughts at 5:49 am under Uncategorized Edit This

Self-confessed vote thief Bedol is now a free man. After the COMELEC meted him a six-month imprisonment and some fine, Bedol got his freedom back by paying 15,000 pesos. Reports say, Bedol was laughing and grinning so broadly that it’s like he’s mocking the COMELEC. Actually, the COMELEC was NOT the victim here. Obviously, its the PEOPLE whom Bedol mocked.

What message are we giving the world? That if you rob the people of their voice, you’ll get away with it if you have 15,000 pesos. Such is this country that it will find it difficult to really rectify its moral errors.
