Elections over. Time to move forward. That’s the key messages being said over and over again by this administration. The thing though that bothers me is, despite the fact that they claim the economy is growing “by leaps and bounds”, prices of commodities are also “growing by leaps and bounds”. There’s a disconnect because government is saying that they will not recommend a pay hike. So, how will people cope up with this booming economy?

One economist say that yes, the economy is picking up, but the ADB says the government must be able to distribute these blessings below the line. They meant, the trickle down effect. But, you know, sobrang suba these people in government that they want these economic gains to just only be theirs. So, what are they going to do about this?

I think government is just trying to do this as like, rose scenting so that people will not rage and go to the streets to cut their fucking necks out!
