Are we equally matched?

Though I don’t necessarily believe in this shit, nonetheless, there are some grains of truth in it. I am a hopeless romantic. A love idealist you could say. While Liezel is basically what the stars tell, a pragmatist.

Will we ever find love? Will we resolve our problems and eventually see ourselves together forever? Let God decide for us. For me, I’ve already  resolved that I will not anymore strive to get what I want in the quickest possible time. I will be patient and just work. I’ll concentrate on my job. And possibly, she will too.

Richard’s Natural Mate

Venus in Sagittarius Applied to Richard’s Natural Mate

When Richard was born, the “Goddess of Love” was in Sagittarius the Archer. So, does Richard walk around wearing an apple for a hat, waiting for the one true love to put an arrow through it? The metaphor, while imperfect, does get us started. Richard is quite idealistic about love, and needs a partner who shares that attitude. Philosophically, there has always been a delicate balance between impossible, inhuman, unreachable “live happily ever after” scenarios on one hand, and a kind of despairing cynicism about the impossibility of relationships on the other. Richard leans toward the former–but going too far in that direction leads to a romantic crash and burn that will make a religion out of the latter. Richard needs help with this one, and that’s why Richard responds so viscerally to people who are positive about love, who believe in it despite everything. Generally, someone with those attitudes is also one who has a fairly positive, trusting attitude toward life in general, an attitude which has presumably manifested in a willingness to travel, to take risks, to explore various belief systems, to absorb some education…and very probably to have loved more than one human “fixer-upper” before meeting Richard.

Anna Liza’s Natural Mate

Venus in Taurus Applied to Anna Liza’s Natural Mate

When Anna Liza was born, the “Goddess of Love” was in Taurus the Bull…proverbially, the most stubborn of the twelve signs. So, does Anna Liza have a thing for rigid, dogmatic people? The real point here is that Anna Liza responds in a viscerally romantic way to people who take PROMISES very “stubbornly” indeed…individuals who radiate a kind of down-to-earth determination to “hang in there” in sane, stable relationships. Even though they are ready and willing to do their part of the necessary work, they have little patience for “unnecessary” psychological complications or emotional self-indulgence. The natural lover is a sensual, physical creature who knows exactly when and how simply to touch Anna Liza, a stroke of the hair, taking the hand–and who expects the same. Part of the magic of such a relationship certainly lies in its deep exploration of the simple, ancient COMFORTS of ongoing love. Naturally, sex is part of that, but what we are getting at here is more broadly based: The gentle ease of familiarity; the unpretentious freedom from “posturing” it produces; the deep body-knowledge that lets two sleepy lovers choose the same moment at 4:01 AM to roll over and sleep on their other sides–the ancient animal-wisdom no human words can ever capture.
